Surgery clinics

We offer a range of clinics and services at the surgery. There are some tasks you can do, such as health reviews, using our online forms.

In addition to GP and nurse consultations, the practice also provides the following services:

Antenatal and postnatal appointments

By our clinical team.

Asthma clinic

Run by our trained asthma nurses.

Child health clinics

Developmental 6 week checks.

Counselling service

Referred via GP or self referral to Talking Therapies on: 0118 9769121.

Diabetic clinic

Run by our trained diabetic nurse. We offer insulin conversion clinics for appropriate patients and annual eye screening clinics.

Dietary and lifestyle advice clinic

Run by our trained nurses.

Family planning clinics

We advise on and prescribe all contraceptives, both routine and emergency. We can also arrange referrals for implants and coil services.

Emergency contraception

Available on the same day via our telephone advice service.

Immunisations

All children require a complete course of immunisation by the age of 5. Adults need to keep their immunisations up to date. Flu and Pneumococcal vaccinations are offered to all ‘at risk’ patients (at the appropriate time of year).

Minor surgery

Joint injection clinics, you must see a GP initially.

Podiatry

For specialised foot care problems by referral only.

Stop Smoking clinics

We run a successful service run by our trained nurses.

Well woman checks

Sexually active women aged between 25 an 65 require regular cervical smear tests to detect early changes which might lead to cancer.
